APPAPLEXIE - STROKE (DEATH BY) At the time of his birth, church records listed his parents address as Sheffield, England. They listed his christening place as Cawood, England. The old family bible seen by Bea Hay, in Lafayette, Indiana in 1976 listed his birth place as Cawood also.
His death certificate in 1863 lists the cause as Apoplexy. His occupation at the time of his death was pork butcher. Earlier occupations were laborer in a timber yard (1858) and provision merchant (June 1863).
