! Name and death date and wedding date came from Sue Porter. Name also on Morman records by Grace Pannell.
!Edwin Beck ALLEN's diary states that his father died, age 62 from congestion of the brain. if it is correct than 62 years prier to that would be 1803. Death month and year in court records.
!Molly Allen wrote a will in Jan. 1843, it was read May 1, 1843. ...ten dollars I wish to be given to my son Jery Allen ... My gun I give to Edward Allen my grand son, the son of my son Jery Allen. As witness my hand and seal this the fourth day of January 1843. signed Molly Allen house still stands in Fredericksburg VA. Have copy of marraige bond. Have his will - he leaves everything to Dorsey. !1860 census say he was born in 1807.
!Have doc that says, William Garrett is appointed gaurdian of Jeremiah Allen, orphan of Silvanus Allen.
!The court case said that he died in his home. He owned three houses next to each other starting with the one on the corner of Caroline and Fauquier.

! According to Doc. Edwin ALLEN's diary. Vol II, pages 49 and 50. "Evensport Potomic city and near Camp Clifton. ...I joined them in Feburary in 1863, soon after the death of my mother." I figure that Mary Stribbling Allen died during the winter of 1862/63.
!Vol. III, page 141. "...mother died age 55 of Pnumonia." Using other diary entry about death I came up with birthyear about 1806/07.
