You are frantically
look or feeling for some kind of opening in the wall.
"Jeff!!!"
David says in a terrified voice.
"What?"
You answer, straining your eyes you see an arm coming out of the wall and
it has a hold of David. You can't move, you can only watch in horror as the
arm starts to pull David through the wall.
"You are
mine, you can't escape!!!"
A hand comes through the invisible wall and grab
you, it pulls you through. You and David are standing in the kitchen, with
in seconds Nick appears. You are surrounded by trolls. You can't move, your
feet seem to be glued to the floor. Then you see HIM, the Warlock.
"I'll be
serving dinner tonight." The Warlock says as he fires up a blow torch.
You know what happens next!

Carefully
you lift the sheet.
"Oh gross!!"
You say.
There under
the sheet is what looks like a man, except, it has no skin! It is looking
at you. It is alive!
"What
happened?" You ask it, but it does not respond.
"It is
dinner." Nick says. "You see the Warlock and the ghouls don't like
hair and skin, so they burn it off. That's what the smell is."
"But
it is still alive." David says.
"Yes
they like to eat their dinner while it is still alive, so they cast a spell
so it won't die and it doesn't feel any pain." Nick explains.
"Look
at it's eyes, they are moving, it looks like it is looking at that cabinet,
then at me, then back to the cabinet." You say.

"What
do you mean, Fight it!!!" Says Nick
"You
don't even know what it is. He was the human who lived in the house above
before the rip in the time curtain was found by the Warlock.." Before
Nick could try to talk you out of it you and David jumped into the chamber.
With one swipe of it's hand it ripped your arm completely off, blood came
squirting out of your socket.
"Mom's
not going to be happy with this coat." You mumble as the creature rips
your other arm off and leaves you to die a slow and painful death.
David charges
the creature with the sword, then suddenly the creature appears to be Jeff.
"Jeff?"
"No!!!"
Screams Nick. "Kill it now before it's to late."
But it's already
to late. The creature grabs David by the arms and opens his huge slimy mouth
and bites his head open and begins to eat his brains. David eyes are wide
open and can tell what is happening, but he can't do anything.
You are still
alive, but all you can do is watch in horror as your friend is eaten alive.

Nick has been
yelling out spells trying to stop the creature, but he can't. The creature
drops David and turns to Nick. Nick picks up a rock to throw, and screams
out one last spell... It works! You are all all right and back at the entrance
of the south tunnel. You don't remember what just happened, but you know you
must trust the Elf. Nick is still holding the rock in his hand.
"What's
that?" Asks David.
You look at
the elf laying there holding something in it's hand.
"You
didn't have that when we pulled you out of the muck." You said.
Nick looks
at his hand and sees a diamond, he remembers what happened, but you don't,
so Nick explains what just went on, and that sometimes when a spell is used
on you, you don't remember everything at first, but it will come back to you
in time.
"If what
you say just happen, really happened, then I don't think I want to remember!"
You say.
"Put
the diamond in your backpack, Jeff" David suggests.

You start
down the right passage, Nick grabbed Tra-ock and pointed him in the correct
direction, and he just started walking down the path. He didn't seem to care
which direction he was going. You see a light coming towards you.
"Quick,
turn your fingers off." Whispers Nick.
"And
how am I supposed to do that?" You ask.
"Say
'OFF' of course." Nick says laughing.
"Off."
And off they went. Everyone pushes their bodies as close to the wall as possible,
everyone except Tra-ock, he just keeps walking. The light comes closer, you
see it's a troll, Tra-ock passes it without a word.

You tie the
stick that you have in your backpack to the rope. Then you throw the rope
over the beam the goes over the hole.
"Well,
it seems like it is secure." You say, but your not really sure.
"We don't
have a choice, let's go." With that Nick grabs the rope and swings across.
He throws the rope back to you and you then David swings across.
"Hey,
that wasn't so bad." You say. Then you slam face first into an invisible
wall.
"There
is something here, and it's moving." You say.
David who
is on your left runs through without stopping. "It's open here."
Calls David.
Nick runs
through behind David and you follow. The hallway is getting narrower and it
is pitch black. You can't see anything.
"David,
where are you?" You whisper.
"Over
here." He answers.
"I can't
see my hands in front of my face. Everyone get together. Is that you David?"
You ask reaching out to touch someone.

"No.
Maybe it's Nick." David says in a shaky voice.
"Nope,
it's not me either." Says Nick.
You can't
move your hand, and you are to scared to say anything. Whatever it is that
you have your hand on is moving like it's breathing heavy, but that's all.
It doesn't seem to be coming any closer or trying to leave.
"Lights."
Commands Nick, and all thirteen of his finger light up like candles.
As soon as
your eyes adjust to the light, you see an elf, like Nick but much older who
is still not moving.
"Father,
father are you all right? I can't believe we found you. Father? What's wrong?"
Nick asks but the elf doesn't answer.
"Hold
out your hand Jeff." Nick is talking fast trying to get through to his
father. You do as he asks, and Nick puts his hand next to yours and the tips
of your finger are on fire. All of Nick's fingers are out now.
"Hey,
what are you doing!" You almost yell as you see your fingers burning.
You start to shake you hand to put out the flame.

"Jeff
it doesn't hurt, does it?" Nick asks.
"No.
Cool, check it out David." While you and David play with your fingers,
blowing them out and watching them relight like magic birthday candles, Nick
is trying to talk to his father.
"This
is useless." Says Nick. "He must be in a trance, and unable to use
his powers."
"Now
what?" Asks David.
There are
two passages, one continuing the north, and one going off to the right. Nick's
father begins to walk off down the northern passage. Nick quickly explains
that his father "Tra-ock" is probably under a spell, and he could
be leading you into a trap, or he might have enough magic left to able to
help you by leading you out. But Nick can't be sure if Tra-ock's magic is
strong enough to break through the spell enough to be trusted, but it is possible.

The passage
to the west cold and damp. The floor is covered by about a foot of slime,
and it is hard to walk in. You and David are talking about how to get out,
when you hear something behind you. You both turn quickly and see a man like
creature coming up from behind.
"Hurry
David!" You both start to run. You are in a big room, and the slime is
up to your waist when you hear.
"It's too
late, there is no way out!!" Coming from the walls. You turn to see the
thing is right behind you.
"What
is it?" You ask.
"It's
a troll. I've seen many of them down here." David answers.
"Do you
know what to do?" You ask.
"I guess
we could fight him, or if we had something good maybe we could bribe him."
Answers David.
You remember
your lunch and ask David if it would do.
"We could
try." Says David.
Do you fight?

You begin
to run towards the hedge, but you can't find the opening. You here voices
coming from everywhere.
"Kill
them, kill them both." David is not dead, but it's to late, you hear
him scream, a bloody scream. It's loud very loud, it's coming closer, you
hear a gurgling sound, you turn to see blood gushing out of what was once
David' head, as you try to scream nothing comes out. You are terrified to
see your own head less body fall to the ground, when you realize that David
is holding your head in his hands.

"What
good is a key hole, when we do not have a key!" You ask.
"Nick,
quick, can you do anything. Tell the hole to close again so we can have more
time." David pleads.
"It's to
late, there is no way out!!! I have you, you can not escape!" The voice
screams. The hole stops opening, leaving you a three inch ledge to stand on.
"Nick,
help us there must be something you can do?!" You ask.
"I know
one that might work, but I will need your help." Nick whispers.
"Just
tell us what to do." Whispers David.
"Okay,
if we all concentrate, we can do this. We need to believe that we are as light
as a feather. Then we can float down to the bottom of this cavern and not
get hurt. But we must all believe in each other, or we will fall like rocks
and die. Are you ready?" Asks Nick.

You all turn
to run almost before the decision was made. You run and run, the tunnel was
not this long, something is wrong, very wrong. You see a light as you get
to the end of the tunnel, you see that you are back at the torture chamber
and the creature sees you. You must fight....

You follow
Tra-ock hoping that his magic is strong enough to break through the trance
and help lead you the right way. You hear something behind you, when you turn
around you see a troll.
"Don't
be alarmed." The troll says.
"Are
you okay?" Nick asks.
"Yes.
I'm fine, but you must be careful. I have to continue walking or the Warlock
will know something is wrong. You must kill him, he is in the center if the
house. Do you still have your ring?" He asks.
"Yes,
why?" Answers Nick.
"You
will need us to help, when you are ready to kill the Warlock use your ring
to call the forces that came before you, and we will come. You have the power!"
And with that he disappeared.
"Where
did he go?" You ask.
"I don't
know." Answered Nick. "But I think things will be getting weirder."
Just then
the passage came to a dead end.
"What
now?!?!" You yell. "How are we supposed to get through this?"

"I guess
we head back." Says David.
"Okay,
lets start back tracking." You say.
"Where's
Tra-ock?" Asks David.
"He was
just here a second ago." Says Nick, looking around for him.
"Can
we take a break?" Asks David as he leans back against the wall. He falls
through, like it isn't there.
"David!"
You yell.
"What?"
He calmly answers.
"Where
are you?" You ask.
"Right
here." He says.
You are looking
at the wall where the voice is coming from. All you see is wall, then at the
bottom of the wall you see his feet. You reach your hand out to touch the
wall, and it goes right through. You pull your hand back quickly. You can
see the wall, but it's not there.
"Let's
go." Says Nick already half way through.

"Thank
you for trusting me, my name is Nick, I am an elfin King."
"You
look like a kid." Asks David.
"Yea,
I am only 12, but I have been training all my life to be king, and when the
Warlock took my father I had no choice. I wasn't supposed to be king until
I was 21, and then the Ring of Elders thought that I was the only one trained
well enough to try and save my father and our world. I came here with 3 other
elves, and many more were captured as slaves by the Warlock. Most were turned
into trolls, some were used as food for a creature that you do not want to
meet. Some of the trolls will not harm you, but beware of the ones with the
glowing amulets they are my warriors and the Warlock uses their skill to be
his guards. When you ripped the amulet from my neck you freed me from the
Warlocks spell. I owe you my life, thank you." You and David are listening
while the three of you walk west down a small windy passage.
"I have
been taught magic, by one of the greatest Magic users in the kingdom, but
I am still an apprentice." Nick becomes quite.
"There
is a light ahead." You whisper.
"It's
a sleeping room." Says Nick.

"Look
at how many beds there are. There must be at least 20 or 30." Whispered
David.
Looking around
the room you see many bunk beds, there are no sheets or blankets, there aren't
even any mattresses on the bunks. There is only one way out and that's through
the hallway you just came through. There is a rope hanging from one of the
beds. David grab the rope.
"This
might come in handy." David says.
"Nick,
are you sure people really sleep in here?" You ask.
"No,
not people. Trolls. Shhh. Did you hear that? Someone's coming." Nick
says.
You all hide,
quickly. As seven trolls enter the room.

Holding their
breath David and Nick jump down the shoot. As the sickening smell gets stronger
they can no longer here you scream, they hope that you are okay.
You are still
falling down the shoot, but it is more like a sliding board and you can use
your feet to slow down. When you finally slow down to the point that you are
hardly moving, you think that maybe you can use your feet to make yourself
scoot back up to the top. Before you even get a chance to try David and Nick
come plowing down right into you, and you start going down even faster.
"Use
you feet on the sides to slow down." You say.
First you
put your feet out, then David and finally Nick who is in the back.
"Crap!"
Screams Nick. "My foot just came off!"
"You
mean your shoe?" You ask.
"No my
stupid Foot!!" He says, he seems more angry than hurt.
The three
of you finally stop completely. Now there is tons of blood pouring down the
shoot.

"Oh no!!"
Hollers Nick. "There goes my foot, catch it! Someone catch it!!"
Thud, something
hit you right in the back of the head.
"I think
I found it." You say trying not to laugh.
"Foot come back. Be a dear. Foot attach.
And stay right here! " Nick begins to chant.
Now you feel
the foot wiggling against your back.
"Yo,
Nick this doesn't seem to be working" You giggle. "This thing is
tickling my back"
"It will
work, the stupid foot!" Nick says and begins the spell again.
"Foot come back. Be a dear. Foot attach.
And stay right here! "
Something
nuzzles your ear, you turn to see a deer!
"Not a DEER" Says Nick. "I told you I was new
at this" All three of you are laughing now.
"Foot come back. Be a dear. Foot attach.
And stay right here! " "Foot come back. Be a dear. Foot attach. And stay right
here!!!! "

Finally the
foot seem to be attached. Nick begins laughing so hard he has tears coming
out of his eyes. David turns to see what's going on.
"His
foot." David says laughing so hard you can hardly understand him.
"His
foot is on backwards!"
You can't
hold on any longer your feet slip and the three of you slide down laughing,
not thinking about the danger ahead.
You drop first
into the bin full of bones and some body parts.
"Well
it's a good thing that you got your foot on before we got here." You
whispered handing Nick another foot. "You would have had 37 different
feet sticking to your leg." You all laughed quietly.
"Where
are we?" You ask.
Looking up
over the edge carefully, Nick whispers. "It is the kitchen, and it looks
empty."
All of you
climb out of the body bin, and Nick falls.
"Stupid
foot. 'Turn around, turn around, turn around NOW!' "Oh
that's much better." Says Nick.
